Hi Wagnerov! We actually had Pete DNA'd 'coz he's doing both male and female behavior...turns out that he's a SHE...so no ring for us! It still confuses me 'coz i can see a grayish outline on her neck and eyebrows...guess i better wait for another year to be definitely sure. By the way, gorgeous pic...

Our Pete "moans" once in a while and it sounds very pitiful. (like how we say "awww... " when we're disappointed!) I don't think it's boredom because we spend time with him a lot, feed him healthy food, etc...this bird is so spoiled, he has everything...even our unconditional love. This house is ful...

I did! I got Pete from a local pet store and he's PERFECT...very healthy and calm, great personality, sociable, loves kids, and potty trained too!!!

I took Pete to school today and the kids can't get enough of him. I was a little bit worried that he might get stressed out 'coz of the screaming and running around the classroom, plus the unendless petting, but it turned out to be great! Pete LOVED the kids and was so calm the whole time...ate ever...

i usually don't get impressed with pictures until i see the real thing...but man...you're killin' me...those birds are SO BEAUTIFUL!!!

whew! i don't know if this is paranoia (<--me) coz when we got him, he's missing a toe. now i know that it is a part of grooming...

sounds silly but we praise him like crazy everytime he goes to his CORNER and poops!

i've been a member on this site for a month now and this is my first time posting! anyways, i think that our PETE is potty trained. we've had him for 3 months now and we've noticed that he goes to the same spot...like a trained dog (even when he's outside his cage!) everytime he takes a crap. are al...
