I am wanting to start owning IRNs and keep them in an aviary, but am wanting to know what types of birds do they go well with? Aviary is 20' x 5'. What other types of parrots can I have in same aviary?
I'd just say IRNs cos I like them. They have personality and I am not a fan cockatiels - I think they are overgrown budgies (just my bias, all the ones i have known of others have been grumpy birds and they aren't that clever)
A bit harsh, but I just love Ringnecks - and if you are looking at them as aviary birds, watching them fly is a joy - they look magnificent.

I'm kinda in the same boat with you on that. Their personality is usually... lacking in comparison to other parrots. Maybe not lacking, but definitely different. And not my personal preference. I see more in common with my budgies and the 'tiels than with the 'tiels and the IRNs.

They aren't as intelligent as IRNs- but on the other hand, our IRNs may not be as intelligent as a 'too, macaw, or grey.

No, smaller isn't always better. IRNs are so hardy, lol! But if you want, you could check out some of the conures as well.
