I just love my shoulder time with Pickle. He sits there and prines himself and then nestles close to my neck and give me kisses. He doesn't like to be petted, but he likes to play tug of war with paper or nuts, and he will not bite, he just pushes your hand away when he doesn't want to do anything. ...

I have found that my birds will attack anything that they think is a predator. They go into defense mode with the mop, the duster, the hose on the vaccum,the fly swatter,even a finger. That is why you should always use a sweeping motion with with your hand to get them to come to you, a single finger...

Both my birds love to chew, unfortunately I found this out after they had eaten my blinds in the puter room.... I hadn't heard of the aloe juice, but will give it a try. I usually just take Pickle with me to the shower, or put him in the sink with a little water and he runs around flapping his wings....to funny! But, he is moulting and i have big and little feathers everywhere...looks like a bird blew up in m...
