Hi, and congrats on your new family member
I'm not an expert, but to me he/she looks like he may of been plucking? My IRN is 5 months old and has had all of her feathers since I had her. Where did your dad get him from? Do you know anything about his past? He looks lovley though.

Re: Kiwi, our new addition :)
Thank you all for your replies. I didn't think she was a normal green, but thought I'd check. I say she, but we don't know yet if Kiwi is a boy or girl. She is so funny and keeps us amused for hours at night. She has also started chattering at nights, and she doesn't shut up as she loves the attenti...

Re: A few questions
Thank you for the reply Melika. My main concern was the noise. Quakers are supposed to be quiter than blue crowned conures, so that is good. I went to see a hand reared baby yesterday. The first one is one you probably get asked alot, noise! How loud are IRN's? I used to own a Senegal, who was alot quiter than the cockatiel I used to ...

Re: Hello
Thank you for the welcomes. From what I've read so far IRN's are sounding like the perfect bird for me and my family. I have a few questions to ask, so I'm off to post them in the questions part.
I look forward to getting to know you all and all your gorgeous birds!

Hello
Hi. I'm new :) I live in worcestershire, England. I live with my partner, my little boy and our chinese crested dog. I used to own a cockatiel (a long time ago) and a Senegal. Unfortunatly our Senegal escaped last year as OH opened the front door before I had got her back in the cage. I was out look...
