i just wanted to say really quickly that you can put him back in the cage but he may start biting MORE to get back into the cage - it all depends on what motivates him. if he likes being out then yea thats a good 'time out' spot but if he prefers his cage you probably dont want him to connect biting...

unfortunately the only advise that i have been given and it does work is just to ignore it - my fred went through a really vicous stage so i started to pick him up and take him in and out of the perch with a it but it did not get any better until i went back to my hand and let him know he didnt hurt...

my kitty has been suffering from fleas lately so I have given her a flea bath and a flea collar. obviously the cat doesnt spend much time with the birds - but is it bad if the cat goes on the couch then the birds? I don't think the chemicals would rub off really but I am wondering if anyone else has...

o my goodness thats SO funny! how about giving him his "own" cell phone? maybe an old one you have laying around? then he can destroy it - but it will probably only distract him if you have it on hand to give him every time the cell phone rings...is it the ring of the phone he likes or doe...

maybe try spraying that wherever he's eating the poopies from? if its bitter tasting then im sure it will deter him from eating that at least a little bit.... and you'll already know its safe for him to ingest because thats what its made for! ive never used it as ive never had a bird that pulled.......

i have two cuttle bones..... they've been in there since i set the cage up and no one has even looked at it as far as i can tell! i've actually wondered if i should find another way to supplement their diet since they don't use it.... but they should be ok as long as they get a varied and nutritious...
