I was just thinking of the tiels we used to have a few years ago and I wondered.. We've had 2 normal greys and also a white tiel with a small patch (one or 2 feathers) of grey/brown on one wing. I was just curious as to know what mutation he was? He was more expensive back then too. Does anyone know? Just curious.

I have no idea either, our kiely is a standard grey tiel also but she has one or two yellow feathers on the back of her head, like a spot, I guess its just like we get pigmentation spots on our skin ?

Nope...Kyria your Kiely is a split to pied girl...
And it sounds like yours is too Lauren...a 'normal' gray teil will have no flecks of yellow or off color feathers anywhere on their head or bodies...if they have those they are split to pied and will throw pied/pearled babies
aww that would be nice, but there is no way my daughter will lose her best friend to breeding. Kiely is Lauren's life and joy they are together every minute that she is home and kiely lives in her room not in the bird room.
