Is my bird a little manic?

Post by Miss Jojo »

Sometimes when Bluey is given food she holds it up to her face and appears to be seriously checking it out.
She waves it back and forth beside her face, makes a kind of growly sound or she just stares at it with pinned eyes and then attacks her toes!
After awhile she will either start eating it or throws the food away.
Is this a normal behaviour or is she a bit neurotic?
Sometimes it's just like watching a dog who starts attacking its foot or chasing it's tail.

Any ideas?

Tsume goes crazy over millet and just kills it RAWR. He also romances the kabob. Hane will sing to me when I feed him before settling in for a chow session with little coos shooting my way (I like to think it's his 'thank you'). Every bird has their quirks!

I've been called 'birdbrained' before, but somehow I don't think this is what they meant. say:hah-nay
