Hi there, I'm Catherine, I'm obviously new to the board, I did sign up a few months ago but never got around to doing anything about it.

I absolutely ADORE birds, our family is relatively new to owning Ringnecks, we bought an untame breeding pair in June, but we've had birds for about 3 1/2 years now, since we first discovered what great pets they are. Currently we are at a tally of 1 Green Cheek Conure, 4 Cockatiels, 4 Budgies, 3 baby chickens, and our 2 Ringnecks who have 5 eggs right now (YAY!) plus our dogs, Daisy the Maltese and Custard the Golden Retriever/ Poodle.

I'm 15 at the moment, but I probably know more about birds than any adult I know, sometimes I even surprise the people at our local pet shops lol. Don't underestimate me, I'm not just a dumb kid, I want to be an avian vet when I'm older or at least study it, then go on to own a pet shop of my own, because from what I've seen, we need some shops that actually care for the welfare of their animals, not just the profit they get. What a nerd I am

Sorry, look at me going on about myself here, i always manage to write too much, well anyway I'll just be here probably asking questions for the most part, HAVE A DICE DAY EVERYONE

Here's a pic I took the other day, Lilly, the female was taking a break and having a strecth out of her box, sitting with her boyfriend, Sam so I thought I'd take some happy snaps





Don't you just love photography? lol I was lucky she didn't run back to her box like usual.
