Hi-Flying in to say Hello

Post by vjneville »

Hi My name is Vickie. I just brought home a 16 week old female irn yesterday. I got her from a lady who basically went bird crazy in the last month and realized that she couldn't spend as much time with all of them as she should. I named her Missy. She's doing pretty well- adjusting very well to her new cage and toys. Eating really well- she's never had pellets before but is already eating them.
She comes up the side of the cage already and makes this sound that sounds like she's crying to me. She doesn't get upset when I put my hands in her cage but won't let me near her yet without trying to bite me but I expected that. She was handfed but hasn't been handled in the last month.

I also have a quaker baby named Pepper who is 14 weeks old. She is a little unique in that she has a splayed leg which is what drew me to her.

Hi Vickie, time will tell you wen you can
have your Ring neck step up :) . For now
keep letting the bird climb to you, it will
make the bird feel comfortable & try to
give it treats from your hand. Any picures 8) ?

Feel free to post as much questions as
