My first pair of Indian Ringnecks Please help

Post by Bridget »

I have a blue and and a dark factor lutino
they are proven with diffrent mates. The male will go in the nestbox but not the female. ANY tips on how to get them to breed would be great or should I repair them?. And what is the breeding season in Missouri?

They are in a room by themselves and only bother by me twice a day for pellets, veggies, fruit and fresh water. I am getting them a bigger nestbox

Any help would be great!
thanks in advance!

Do you see them mating? Or has the male even started to court the hen? What is the dimension of the nestbox?

Breeding season in Missouri should start from December till May.

One last question, a Lutino masking Dark Factor is a very rare bird especially in the US. Are you very positive that is the bird's genetics?
