Ok so is it just me or...

Are these birds training us??? I swear Princess has me at her beacon call! I change her water like twice a day, chop her veggies and fruits also twice a day, once every week I make up a batch of the sit'n'soak stuff. She eats better than I do lol I have to admit though I love her to pieces. She knows that she is here to stay and is gonna run this household like she wants it. I am dreading the bluffing stage with her... Oh well, we'll see who ends up boss lol.

Question for anyone who wants to answer...what is your ringneck like? Mine is a needy brat who is princess over all she surveys...but I love her anyway

She sounds like she rules your house as any spoilt well loved bird should!

Datsun is very well behaved with me... never bites always asks for things (lifts her fot and begs) is very polite (says thenk you) and is reasonably quiet but with my partner she is a brat! She knows he adores her and she takes full advantage of that... fair enough too, if you can out smart your Dad then you have every right to milk it.

Datsun when she is out is a model bird, everyone is always impressed with her behaviour, at home she has good days and bad. Shes just like any human I guess, moody sometimes sweet and polie others. The trick is reading her and by golly has that bird got us trained!

When he gets stuck on the floor, well then, that's a different story.

Busey has taught me to play fetch.
Yep.
He shakes his jingle ball all over the top of the cage, then leans over the edge & drops it!
Then he sits there & looks at it - runs over to me - goes back to look at it - until I go get it for him.
Repeat the above in approximately 2 minutes.
