Yep, sounds like a little man. Hes saying, 'I'm a big man now, and you don't tell me what to do!' lol. Don't let him over power you, he's asserting his authority and this is the crucial time for training. Stay calm but firm. Don't be afraid of a few bites. It will pass with some guidance from you, the leader.
This is my first time going through this stage because Jibby never did this, he can get a little snappy on the odd day here and there but hes never been much of a fighter. Now, with Yoda, I know just how much they push your buttons to get what they want. They are smart! Don't give in.
I must admit, I love it Yoda challenges me. But I don't show him it amuses me! I don't laugh, I don't scream, I just ignore.
Yesterday, I shut the blinds because he was being too noisy at the window, (shutting the blinds, shuts him up), he bolted over to me on the computer, sat in front of the screen on the keyboard and lunged at me, growling his guts out in protest. He will go out of his way to tell me off sometimes.

He also argues with me at bedtime and he hates the word 'NO!' and 'UH UH UH!' he replies with 'Yeeeah Yeh Yeeeah!!!' in the cutest lil angry voice then takes his anger out on his Pooh bear and Tigger because he knows hes in trouble. Pooh and Tigger have taken a good beating and they have been a helpful punching bag for angry birds. hehe. Yodas a fighter!
