birds get a surge of hormones and they really kick in and they become very aggresive? oliver is 9 motnhs old and well he was doing the male dance to his bell and i went to pick it up and him up as well and he just attacked my finder and well it as bad. I mean a nasty cut.
So i was wondering if he is Becoming a "man"

Sounds like it, yep! it will be a mix of both bluffing and becoming a big boy. The males try to show their dominance. Jordan will tap the ground with his beak in front of pickle, or to our fingers. You now have to show him who is boss, keep control, work with him until you can take that bell without him attacking you.

Jordan use to attack my toes, but with constant discipline, a loud NO and a quick but gentle swipe everytime he goes near them, he doesnt bother with them anymore, so I can still enjoy walking around home with bare feet. You see its like children, if you just take stuff away, or leave him with his bell and simply say "don't touch his bell, its his" he is getting his own way and not learning anything. Just like with children, a little bit of ground work to begin with saves alot of problems later.

But it does sound like your baby is practicing being a big boy and it will be particulary bad around breeding season

 Yep, sounds like a little man. Hes saying, 'I'm a big man now, and you don't tell me what to do!' lol. Don't let him over power you, he's asserting his authority and this is the crucial time for training. Stay calm but firm. Don't be afraid of a few bites. It will pass with some guidance from you, the leader.

This is my first time going through this stage because Jibby never did this, he can get a little snappy on the odd day here and there but hes never been much of a fighter. Now, with Yoda, I know just how much they push your buttons to get what they want. They are smart! Don't give in.

I must admit, I love it Yoda challenges me. But I don't show him it amuses me! I don't laugh, I don't scream, I just ignore.

Yesterday, I shut the blinds because he was being too noisy at the window, (shutting the blinds, shuts him up), he bolted over to me on the computer, sat in front of the screen on the keyboard and lunged at me, growling his guts out in protest. He will go out of his way to tell me off sometimes. He also argues with me at bedtime and he hates the word 'NO!' and 'UH UH UH!' he replies with 'Yeeeah Yeh Yeeeah!!!' in the cutest lil angry voice then takes his anger out on his Pooh bear and Tigger because he knows hes in trouble. Pooh and Tigger have taken a good beating and they have been a helpful punching bag for angry birds. hehe. Yodas a fighter!
