Anyone would think they have never been fed..

Post by julie »

I went down to vetafarm the other day and got some pellets for my babies,I knew they wouldnt take to them straight away so I soaked some in water and then added budgie seed, sunflower and fruit & veg and then I put it in the oven just enough to make it firm. They go nuts for it like this  oscar(the grouch) almost landed on me when I went in  My dear husband thinks my birds are fed better than him and I even cook for them.

You must be a good cook! I gave my budgies some "birdie beans" today and they had a feeding frenzy. I had to double check to be sure they had pellets and seed, you would have thought they hadn't eaten in a week! What a hoot.

Hehe, hilarious. Fussy lil buggas arnt they? My 2 will eat the pellets but if I mix them with seed they will not touch them.

My fids are on Passwells because my vet suggested it. But I'd like to see if theyd eat vetafarm pellets.
