Finally

Post by giantfoot_truck »

Finally Im able to log in to this site, I have wait so long so that my account will be activated, and now this is it!

I live in both Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, I own 3 pet bird; 2 ringneck dove, and 1 ringneck parakeet. My favourite pet are mainly fish, I started to have big interest in bird after my dad bought pair of lovebird, but then it is sold after living with us for several month, simply because my dad doesn't like them...
Then I bought a pair of tame ringneck dove, and not long after I bought them, my dad bought a female baby ringneck parakeet, she was alone at the petstore, no parents. I used to name her "IJO" which mean green in Indonesian language, but then everyone doesn't agree with it, so we name it "Lovy" the lovely ringneck parakeet. :D lol

At that time she was still a fledgling, and never made any voice when hungry, so I tried whisteling, she shout and scream like her mom has finally come! And she realize it was me who whistle, she then always scream whenever she is hungry, and she only scream back when I did the whistle, if anyone else did, she wouldn't bother. Maybe because my whistle is special to her.

I used to take her out with her nest wherever I go, and now that she is a big girl, she always want to stay on my shoulder!
And she always copy what Im doing, like when I play ps2, computer, she would climb down from my shoulder and start biting and pressing on the button/keyboard.

She is now around 3 month old, and she get along fine with my dove, although they need my supervision while playing out together, the IRN would feel curious about the dove and so trying to bite/clean their feather, but Im always close to them so no hatred going on around them. Anyway Lovy have known these dove since she was still a fledgling, and she love to be near them, maybe because she think the dove are her sibling.

I think thats about it, thanks for reading!
