help, concussion!!!

Post by lutino »

My bird flew over to see me, but he/she has clipped wings and instead, flew into my desk. It didnt seem to hard, cos he/she has hit things before, but now lutino is just sitting in the cage, really quietly in a weird position, with his/her head slightly down. Im not sure what to do. I covered the cage with a towel....now what? He/she is still alert and everything, just abit confussed i think.

I think you should take your fid for a check up with the vet, that is if of course if s/he hasn't picked up quickly.

Hope s/he is ok.

It doen't take a very hard hit for the bird to break his neck. Please take him to the vet and get him checked out ASAP!!

Poor lil thing. I hope he/she is ok and its nothing too serious. It is a very good idea to take your baby to the vet ASAP. :( Keep us updated.

So good to hear. :D Sometimes Jibby looks like a zombie when he's had a fright or startled by something. Usually a loud noise or not landing where he wanted to. He moves very slowly and looks like hes just seen a ghost. Hes usually ok after a few minutes though. I just let him have his 'zombie' time but make sure I'm there to look out for him and reassure him everything is ok.
