Infertile eggs?

Post by rhondajonesdaycare »

I have a pair of IRN's that laid their first clutch 22 days ago. I wasnt familiar with candling the eggs until day 17 when I could see an air sac and some faint grey lines that were either on the egg or inside the egg. Now, day 22, the eggs seem to have a larger air sac that moves around when I tip the eggs to candle them. What am I supposed to see at this late stage of the game? My female still sits every minute of the day on the eggs and I dont know who will be more broken hearted if the eggs are bad. I am going to leave them for a few weeks past the day they are supposed to hatch but wondered if anyone had any ideas on what I am seeing in the egggs and what I am supposed to see.
