Gilberts Angry?

Post by Lauren »

 Just now I was chased almost up the hall by a rampaging Gilbert. He was attacking my parnters socks on the floor and decided he would climb onto the couch where I was laying to attack my feet! I got up and he started chasing me trying to attack my toes. All puffed up and angry. At my feet? I dont get it. Yesterday he was the sweetest lil birdy. I even cuddled him after he was frightened by a big black crow that flew straight at my window and scared poor Gilbert so much he had to hide in my hoodie. He loved me then. Now he wont let me in the lounge room? :x This has happened before. Can IRNs just 'snap'?

I swear he is almost as big a **** as Baby... boy boy boy... ALL BOY!

As much as I love him... Id love to mess the feathers on his head up just to piss him off.

I love them pissed, I piss Baby off now and then for a good laugh.

i think peanut "snapped" for a little while the other day also. he was trying to bite me all day and didn't want anything to do with me. he seems fine now, but i think them birdy hormones are starting to kick in. maybe its a game that gilberts playing? he probrobly likes the reactions.

I try so hard not to react. But its scary and funny at the same time so I end up running away laughing because Im being chased by a bird! I must look so silly. I know not the best thing to do. Gilbert knows me too well. I do discipline him though. Cage time and ignored for 15 mins. On the naughty perch. Not ac ceptable behaviour!
Tonight Gilbert really had it in for me.. or my toes. Little **** he is. But I still love him.

I don't think I am going to let Magellan read this thread....she is far too ladylike to consider attacking (famous last words, I know)

Ok, I found out a possible cause for this problem. He doesnt like me cleaning up his 'poops' off the floor! Anytime I got the tissues out to clean it up he'd chase me. I thought maybe he doesnt like the tissues. So I put one on the floor. He attacked the tissue until it was all ripped up and dead enough, then ran straight for my toes! Everytime he has a 'accident' on the floor, he quickly turns around and stares at it. Like he just laid an egg! Hmm. He seriously cant be that protective of his 'poops'!?! I mean his everlasting love for his toy bell is enough.
