break it up

Post by Sparx »

i have 3 IRNs at home (Sparky 19 months, Rocky and Fudge 5 months) and they keep fighting each other. Fudge in particular attacks the other two in a defensive maner. She is the smallest and is a little bit deform in the wings (has an extra set of flight feathers on each wing and she also was only hand read for 2 weeks before we got her at 3 months old). we got her When we got Rocky so she follows him around alot but still attacts him (and Sparky).

someone please help

Mine do the same. I figure they haven't killed each other and there doesn't seem to be any blood or major injuries so maybe its just like children squabbling. If it gets serious, I would separate them but maybe its like dogs play fighting to learn what to do in a real fight??? I really have no answers here....just throwing a few things out there that I have been considering. If you find a solution, let me know!
