Wings Clipped Today

Post by DEEDEE »

Yes they are going to be clipped today, He keeps flying out of the cage door as soon as you open it, so fast. So for saftey reasons and the danger of them hurting themselfs, I think this is the best option. A guy who keeps Macaws is going to do it. The Vet wanted £30 a Bird. Shock Horror

For future ease, take note and ask questions on how the guy does it. We have just started clipping out own pets wings... It's quite easy once you've seen how to do it... Just be careful not to cut to deep into the wings because of veins.

Peace

I watched him and it seemed easy, 2 diferent birds now, opened cage top and they were contented to sit on the top. Not like the last time he flew out as I opened the door.
