Sneezing

I have a question. Is it true that the only time you need to worry about a bird/parrot sneezing is if there is a discharge from the nares?
If there is no doscharge don't worry, right?

I had a chinchilla die from a cold and another that was on antibiotics for a month to try Chinchillas and Birds respitory systems are the same. Sorry, kind of off topic but just wanted to explain why I worry so much.
