God help me. I cant lose Baby. I cant. I honestly do not think I could handle that. And that scares me.
I have the same feelings. I am always telling my boyfriend and family if anything ever happens to Baby, I'll die with him (y'all saw how I freaked out when I heard his tests wern't normal). I know it's a selfish thing to say but Baby is truly my child, I know you guys will understand how I feel.
Londonlad, good for you for being strong and still being with us.

Baby taught me it was safe to love. Had a rough life. Now, because of Baby, I am not so afraid to love my husband and children.
Baby is my world. Nothing, not even my human child (which is CRAZY) has had such a huge impact on my life than Baby. He has truly made me a better person and I have learned far more from him than he from me.
He has both humbled me and taught me patience with unconditional love. Thats priceless.

Loss and Love
No need to feel guilty. Because we lose someone we love doesn't
mean we can't love anyone else. Human or feathered. Not replacing him just a new someone to love. There are many here who have more than one to love at the same time.
