He was on top of his cage with the other birds and decided all the toys were his. He would lung at the other birds if they got close to any of them. I went over to the cage wile he was playing with his favorite chew toy and told him he had to share. I first took the birds off his cage top he didn’t care about this. I then went to collect a few toys for them, these toys were no were near him well he ran flapping his wings and bit the holly heck out of my hand (not to sure but I think he got about three good ones in). I just picked up the toys and gave them to the other birds. George was having non of this and squawked at me and then turned his back on me. well I just stood there and he finally turned around, I then turned my back on him. Wow you would have thought I just committed a big sin. When I turned back around after about 15 seconds he was climbing into his cage, were he sat with his back to me and would not step up. He had his feet firmly planted and no matter how sweet I talked to him I just got the cold shoulder. So I left him alone and played with the other birds. After about five minutes of this I hear contact call and George walked right up to me and began to snuggle with me for a good 15 minutes.
Im just guessing but could this be the beginning of the dreaded bluffing stage, or just a temper tantrum?
Did I handle the situation appropriately? I mean I know he came to me after a wile, but I don’t want him to think he can throw a fit when ever he wants.
Today George was being a booger butt.

That is too funny. I don't have any other birds but I like the way you handled him and he apparently got the message.
What a little stinker he is. I love those strong personalities. It
makes them so much more interesting don't you think. I mean really
if I wanted a toy to cuddle I'd of bought a stuffed bird not a real live
one with a brain and personality. I know that means getting a nip from
time to time but boy all the rest is so much fun.
