feather tether

I just tried to get the feather tether on Nila again and got the loop around his neck and was trying to adjust the chest/wing strap, he got his foot on the loop of the chest strap and pulled and it tightened around his neck, and he became frantic and I could not get him to loosen his grip on the
loop, he kept pulling his head and neck up and his foot down tightening the loop, I had a heck of a time getting the *!><**!!**<>* thing off his neck.

I will never put it on again. Period. I may try the flight suit but never again anything around his neck.
No way no how.

I'm with you...I tried it on my grey and had a similar and equally terrifying experience. I won't put one on any of my fids. I would rather clip their wings...
