Hi everyone,
I lost my male irn last firday he escaped out tru there revolving feeder, his hen is on 6 eggs, from what i have read she will sit and raise them by her self is this correct? i plann to pull the babies out for hand raising about 2 weeks of age will i need to do it earlier?
I would also like to no if i have a lutino female left now after i pull her babies if i put in a albino cock bird what colour babies could i expect? or is it to soon to add her a new male right after shes lost her old one?and if anyone can direct me to a site or a book i can bye so i can see these genetrics and see what i would acheave from placing different birds with each other i would love to get in to lace wings but not understanding the genetrics well i am afraid i am going to spend alot of money on the wrong things. so in saying that is there any sort of lace wing i could bye to put with my lutino hen that could produce lace wings? or do i need that lacewing on both sides to produce it?

I wouldn't intoduce another Cock until after the babies have been pulled for handraising. She should be able to feed them for the first 2 weeks, that is, if all the eggs hatch.
Albino Cock x Lutino Hen
=Lutino/Blue Cocks and Hens
If you want to get Pallids (Lacewing), you will need either a Pallid Cock or a Split Pallid Cock, that way, you will breed Pallid Hens.
Pallid Green (Lacewing) Cock x Lutino Hen
=PallidIno Green Cocks
=Pallid Green Hens
