New Memeber, new family pet

Good Morning,

I would like to introduce myself and my new bird. My name is Kristi and I am new to this board. We have recently purchased a 6 month old male African Ringneck. His name is Kiwi. He is not tamed at all. We got him on Thursday and he just started eating on Saturday. I am sure this is normal since he is in an unknown home. We have been reading on how to tame them and I will be reading through all the posts in this forum for advice. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
