Now I know I am completely birdstruck

Post by elaine »

We went out for dinner tonight, just me and hubby, however, I just couldn't resist ringing my baby home a birdybag (as apposed to a doggy bag!) I was quite full and couldn't finish the fresh salad which was so finely chopped green and red cabbage & carrot. All I could think about was how much Smokey would enjoy this (he loves his vegies). So in a napkin I put the salad and brought it home. Well you should have seen the look on hubbies face!!! and the look of delight on Smokey's face when I gave it too him :D . It was a classic. Next week I might take little birdy instead of hubby (only difference would be that Smokey can't pay for dinner !!!! ) Do you think hubby would just stay home and send me and little baby out? I could at least ask I suppose, lol

tell him you need to buy some girlie things like a bra or something and if he doesnt want to spend ALL DAY shopping with you to pick it out then he should hand over the $$ then when you get home after a dinner with birdie if he asks what you bought pull out a bra that you havent worn in ages and show him that, He probably wont know the difference.

Neo:

I could learn alot from you. Teach me. I am your Jedi

*signs up for male maniplulation classes*

Im too straight forward and it does me no good. Im not smart enough to manipulate what I want. Instead, I use the "I cant MAKE you give me that but I can certainly MAKE you wish you had"

Although extremely effective, probably not as healthy in the end as some good old fashion manipulation.

A more negative, agressive approach. Teach me Yoda.

Hubby & I have always argued over his trailbike obsession. We have just acquired a 4 wheel drive (another of his loves). I'm figuring that if I give him enough rope on these 2 then I can smile sweetly and get what I want. Short of that I get informed 'do what u want, u normally do anyway'. Oh, & I tried to inform him last night that MBS is a medical condition. Lots of eye rolling to that 1.

Hubby jus got a 4 wheel drive, like hello, what bird are you gettin with delux cage ,huh? I jus let hubby get a corn snake and vivarium and all the lights heat mats , etc etc cos i have a plan  . I want a playstand for marley but not just any old playstand, its gotta be good. Im just bideing my time, you know waiting for the right oppurtunity to strike.
Do you know whats funny, hubby bin putting up with me for 16years now, he can read me like a book, he knows whats coming and did right from the start but he such a little sweety he just humours me and still plays along.
But a 4 wheel drive, well id want more than a playstand put it that way. Although would be arguing with hubby , who was gonna drive the 4 wheel drive, woo hoo wot fun. Natalie xx

I wish I was smart enough not to handle everything like a bulldog but Im not.

Im not smart enough to manipulate... strong arming works better for me. Which too is manipulation but it creates negativity.

With men, ignorance is bliss. So, they are much better off being told what they want to hear rather than broken down like a shot gun.

I am going to try a softer approach.... Lying!
