Hiya...new to IRNs

Hello!
I am picking up me first Ringneck on Wednesday and am super excited. I have had cockatiels and budgies for a few years now and am really looking forward to adding a blue one to my feather kids collection.
Any tips or suggestions would be great!

How are you getting on with your blue IRN? What sort of tips were you looking for? Bonding is very impiortand eat your meals in front of the cage or insight of the bird, what name did you give it?

We pick her up tomorrow and have called her Nila. I guess dietry tips would be good, I know my tiels are very fussy but I'm not sure how picky Nila will be??

We have a Nila too! Nila Sa to be precise.
Fussiness varies from bird to bird. I think it's best to make sure you are offering the same base diet the breeder feeds while she settles in, as well as what you want to encourage her to eat. Most ringnecks seem to be sunflower seed junkies, so I picked them out of the seed mix to use for treats. Our birds love chillis too, one prefers them dried and the other likes fresh best.

i have been giving some many different food to Billie recently that l cannot remember what she likes, some one suggested keeping a food diairy of like likes and dislikes, but one day Billie likes Millet spray and the next hated it, l do think they like a variety of food although Billie would eat sunflower seeds until the cow came home l try and keep her off them as they very fattening and have little food value.

IRNs are lovely pets to have, I have only recently gotten one myself. They love a mixed diet of seeds, fruits, vegetables and nuts. My Kari loves apples and sunflower seeds!
Make sure your bird is getting a varied diet (with no caffeine or any miscellaneous edible poisons like Tobacco or Avocado) and they will be happy
Teflon pans, nail varnish, deodorants or basically anything that is fume-y should be kept away from your bird, as they have very delicate respiratory systems.
