What's up with the advertising on the home page??

Did an advertisement pop up on your home page this morning? It did on mine. What's up with that? Hopefully won't be a problem like when those morons hacked the site a few weeks ago. I was devestated. Not only am I addicted to my birds, but I'm severly addicted to this web site. And when I got on to read and post and this hacker's page came up I freaked. Ask Dani and Angie... I instant messaged both of them right away. Wow! I feel so much better now. I've come clean about being addicted to the board too! You should try it, it'll make you feel better. Tee hee.

Yeah I know Jen I was so upset. I am seriously addicted...hehehe think we need a board for those of up addicted to this one? IRN-P-A (Indian Ringneck Posters Anonymous) maybe? LMAO Oh well...better this than someother addictions I can think of.

Prinny enjoys it...I think she's addicted too! Uh oh...

yeah i seen that but im glad no one said anything at the time.dont wanna give them the satisfaction of them knowing it pisses us off.
to answer your question i have a pop up stopper.but some how someone keeps sending viagra ect to my email so i will be deleting my email address from my profile.

I know, jen was so upset, but she left me the message I got it the next day coz of our time differences and by then all was ok.

Its almost impossible to stop spam pop up and junk. I wiped my whole computer not long ago because it got so bad. Thats usually the only way to stop it eventually. But it creeps back.

People seriously I beg you, if you dont have it download FIREFOX! It is a MUCH safer browser. Quite a few viruses and spyware can be avoided SIMPLY by using firefox.

Firefox does not enable any activex scripting that malicious people take advantage of. By all means leave Internet Explorer on your desktop and only use it on TRUSTED sites that NEED activex.

And remember to run your anti spyware programs every now and then. Spybot Search and Destroy, Ad aware and Microsoft Defender all have free anti spyware programs.

I dont know what happened this morning. But if theres a chance that Firefox will help stop your machines from attacked then I would use it.

thats what my uncle said and thats what iv been using for the past few weeks allong with avg free virus pertection

firefox rules , but internet explorer is faster and has better favorite/bookmark applications if u ask me

no but i liked and got used to using it and the change over was confusing i kept getting pissed looking for favorites and then realizing they were in the bookmarks and the speed was mind numbing at first

Think how much fun that would be. But I'm sure we'd have to do something they would consider incredible before they'd bring us all in. They wouldn't care about birds. Seems if you're not a bird person you really don't like them. Or at least that's what I've noticed. My friends think I'm a kook! They just don't get it. But I'm hopeless. I sit here at work and can't wait to get home and spend time with my babies. I just love them!

I too use Mozilla Firefox and I never see pop-ups, espeically not here.

Mozilla is simply better. Everything about it.

I certainly havent found a short coming in firefox such as it being slower.

Im not even a person that likes computer change and firefox won me over.

Oprah said no thanks... she deals with real world interest and concerns so I told her to get the pin out of her **** and learn to commit. Stedmans not a bad catch. She hung up on me.

That's it berrynice!!! All those characteristics describe our babies. Heck, that's my Byndi wrapped up in a pretty teal/turquoise package! And we could "accidentally" leave out the fact that they're birds. We could just say they are our children. Cuz they are! Then we'll all show up and have our fids and then what could they do???
