His typing lessons aren't going very well, I can't explain the concept of pressing down hard on keys reliably, and there is no feedback from the computer when he does so he doesn't get it.
a voice to text program could be amusing though, I wonder what it would attempt to translate his talking into...
Isn't there a child's program that when you touch the letter it responds with the sound? There is an iPad app called talk to me...but I'm not sure if they have one for a computer.

That's what I need. I think you can get programs that allow you to use the keyboard as a piano too.... my computer skills are pretty minimal, so it may take me sometime to figure that out.
I have been considering getting him a toddlers toy computer and hanging it on his tree so he can work it out for himself.
