On happy momma
My little man has started strutting some black feathers for his ring very faint but you can start to see it.

Exciting! My male, Charlie, got a red ring. I'll never forget the first day I discovered it. He was in the shower and when his feathers got wet, I could see some traces of red. At first, I thought he was bleeding and that sent me into a panic - then I realised it was just his big boy feathers coming through. It was very exciting! I'd got tired of posting pics of him and people thinking he was a girl because he didn't have a ring yet!

Your boy is growing up...make sure you take lots of pictures so you can remember how cute he was when he was little!
Bug started getting his red ring at about the same time we got Rufus the sun conure. We used to tease him that he was turning into a conure...thankfully this didn't actually occur

Wow! I'm really excited for you! I remember when Archimedes got his ring. I was so excited. Give him a treat from all of us!

Aww excellent, I guess it's the same moment us humans have at birth when we get to find out if its a boy or girl!
I'd love to know what sex my doodlebug is-not because I'm yearning for a boy and nothing else will do because I'm head over heels whatever the outcome-but because I'm saying good boy etc and will have to get out of the habit if time proves otherwise!
I had a male IRN years ago so don't have a clue to the behaviours of females so really need to read up on what to expect if he is a she lol.
Congrats on finally finding out
