Hen Cracked Infertile Egg! What should I do?????????????????
My hen has been sitting on her egg for quite awhile. Today I found out that she cracked her egg! (I know this because the crack was beak-shaped and going inward.) I don't know if she drank the fluid or not. What should I do? Will she be OK??????????????? Can someone reply soon? I couldn't stand for my bird to get hurt!

(P.S. I don't think my bird will let me. She hardly gets out of the box.)

Is your hen paired up with a male?? If not can I ask why you have a nest box in her cage??
I am owned by my birds...and I wouldn't have it any other way
