Hi what are the parents of your blue hen?
Its not possible for a blue indian ringneck to be split to grey as grey is a dominant mutation
Lutino cock to a blue hen will result in the following chicks
1.0 ino
x 0.1 blue
% from all 1.0
100.0% 1.0 green /blue ino
% from all 0.1
100.0% 0.1 ino /blue
All males will be green split blue ino and all females will be lutino split blue
Thanks

Hi MissK, below is a website with information on genetics

Also read the following thread I started, I'm gonna be continuing with lessons as I can now see that it will help newbies to understand genetics

which one was the Cock & Hen? and what babies did they produce? And unorder to get pallid babies will your blue have to be slit to a pallid? Because i have a blue Hen that next breeding season i would love to breed her with a Blue cleartail male (which i think that is called a pallid) *correct me if im wrong im still learning lol* So do you know what my offspring would be? i dont no know my blue Hen parents nore grandparents mutations
Re: What will i get Lutino cock & Blue hen/grey hen? HELP!!!
Okay first of all- you need to stop calling a Cleartail a Pallid. Both are mutations in IRN and while both may appear similar at first- they are very different in the way they act and present themselves.bdt9413 wrote:ok thanks!! so i saw that your breeding pair for 2012 was your "Blue x BluePallid"Lushen1600 wrote:Hi what are the parents of your blue hen?

Blue Pallid cock x Blue hen = Blue cocks split for Pallid, and Blue Pallid hens
Blue Cleartail x Blue hen = Blue cocks and hens both split for Cleartail
