Sage and Buddy...

Post by Mazziemom »

Sage decided last night to let us know what sex she is for sure...

She chased around my little green man and solicited him like a hussy for some lovin.

Image

It was actually very cute... she chased him all the way across my headboard. He eventually gave in, and gave her a bird kiss, then climbed over her and ran back to the other end of the headboard.

Image

Of course, who can blame her? He is such a very handsome boy!

Yep, I have the hardest time avoiding blues when I go to parrot shows. I think the solids are stunning. Mazzie's yellow (lutino) is so brilliant it can blind you in sunlight... and Buddy's green is so full of subtle shadings. I can stare at them for hours happily.

Of course Sage is gorgeous too, and its nice that the Albino IRN's dont have red eyes. Her eyes are a soft beautiful blue.

Funny thing is, I have never cared if my babies are male or female. I think the rings are fantastic and beautiful, but I love the beaks more. Something about those red beaks just makes my heart pitterpat!

Ooo soilds...though I have personally seen a pied up close and personal ane let me tell you that bird was stunning! It had a white background with soft blue and 'violet' blotches all over. OMG that was a sight to see! Wish I could have taken pics. I was pinning over it...wanted one so bad  Pics don't do those birds justice!

the one in Jeremy's avatar is so pretty. Those soft patels colors are so pretty on these birds. Of course the soilds (albinos, lutinos, blues, greens) are stunning in their own right. Ever seen a voilet or cobalt? *pines* Those are amazing!
