Well, I have been working with him for a total of 3 days. Day one he bit the bageebers out of my hand. It was hard but I tried not to flinch, the fist thing helped. After a while he seems disappointed he did not get much reaction but since then I have been bit very little (thankfull). Yesterday none at all. I work with him only when he is on top of his cage. He tries to evade my hand mosly. Is there any trick to get them not to run away or just keep persisting?? Once on my hand he tries to climb my shoulder and seems happy there. Should I not allow that?

I agree they get spoiled on your shoulder and think they are above you in the "pecking" order do not let him go onto your shoulder unless you put him there if he trys to climb your arm dont let him he has to know who has more control most of my birds still try to run for the shoulder but i dont let them on unless it is directly from my hand to my shoulder
