How does parent raised birds progress into bluffing ?

Hi all,
So its been about 1 month since I brought my parent raised baby home. He lives with green cheek and they get along pretty well. He's (not sure on gender) gotten to the point where he'll eat, drink, and play when I'm in the room but will still move away if i'm closer to the cage. Seeing that he does have minimal hands on time with me, aside from the occasional times where I will catch him and gently pet and rub his cheeks (which i think he enjoys bc he won't try to escape and bite), how does bluffing come into his life? sometimes he'll do the small gaping to my gcc and slightly chase him then my gcc will turn around and chase him back which he will sometimes resort to flying off to another part of the play top.
so if anyone has experience with a parent raised and how they worked out please let me know.
