He started talking! :o)

Good news gang! Today while reading my nephew a story at noon my Ringneck started to mumble. I thought nothing of it, then out of nowhere he said, “Good Parrot!” I was like what? Did he just say something I can understand? A few seconds went by and he said it again! I was so excited.

So I set up my mic and I recorded him. While listening during the playback I also found out he says, “I’m coming.” I was just in shock! Well anyhow I have posted the files so now you can hear him. Hope you all enjoy them and see how well they talk.

Wow, what’s funny about this whole taking thing is that daily I have been working with him. I for sure thought his first words would be “Hello” or “Good Morning.” Boy did he prove me wrong! It just goes to show that parrots pick up what they want!
