He's around a year old and I've had him for roughly four months. He's a lot less frightened of me now than he was when I got him, but he won't let me pet him. I'd like to clip his wings but I can't catch him to take him to a vet. There's also no avian vet here and his cage is too big to take to the regular vet. What should I do?
I've also got a few questions:
He makes strange little noises, not quite words, but is he learning or trying to talk? Or is this just what they do?
Sometimes during the day when he tucks his head into his wings for a nap, he sort of mumbles to himself, does this mean he's happy and content?
What kind of diet are your IRN's on and what do they enjoy the most?
Any replies would be appreciated. Tips on taming will also be greatly appreciated!
