I am new to forum, which may I add is wonderful, I think it might be my new nesting place as I've enjoyed browsing these pages. Unfortunatly though, losing my lil girl is what has bought me here. She was an inside bird, hand tamed, whistling and talking alot and she escaped out an open door, she was myn and my sons bird and we are both very, very upset about this lose. She was only 18 months old and we only have had her for 12 months.
It's been 4 days since she flew away and no sign of her We moved her cage outside and left it open with some fresh food in it, in hope of her returing to it for security, but to no avail.
We were already in the process of looking around at getting her a friend, which has now been hightened as we are both so lonely without her and thoroughly enjoyed the company of the IRN bird.
