the chicks ??

Post by seefm5 »

hi i have a pair of indian ringneck the male is normal blue and the female is creamino
the chicks will be:
1.0 blue
x 0.1 turquoise(parblue) ino
% from all 1.0
100.0% 1.0 turquoise(parblue)Blue /ino
% from all 0.1
100.0% 0.1 turquoise(parblue)Blue

what is this color exactly? (turquoise blue)? is it like the normal blue or turquoise?

if any one have a picture of this color please post it.

Seem,
If the blue is not split for other mutations then the expectations will be 50% each blue and turq, and split ino in cocks only.

here is the result(possible mutations) of your pairing:

1.0 blue x 0.1 turquoise(parblue)Blue ino

% from all 1.0(cock)
50.0% 1.0 blue /ino
50.0% 1.0 turquoise(parblue)Blue /ino
% from all 0.1(hen)
50.0% 0.1 blue
50.0% 0.1 turquoise(parblue)Blue

turquoise(parblue) blue cinnamon and turquoise(parblue) blue

in the genetic calculator... for turquoise(parblue) blue ino or creamino, you will click turquoise(parblue) and ino in the visual column and blue in the split column...
