IRN newbie

Post by super_nerdy »

Hi all,

New to IRN's and new to parrots all together, although I have had birds in the past (cockatiels mostly and a few budgies) Recently had a baby cocktiel die which we were hand feeding (on xmas eve) and we hd got him a huge cage etc so we decided to put it to use for IRN.

We found the IRN on gumtree, a blue youngster who was out of the nest but looks like is just being weened - he was wild and not hand fed or tame and we got him home and he didnt want anything to do with us.

I am now on day 2 and night 3 and the lil one enjoys having his neck and back scratched and is eating a little from us by hand (although he hasnt eaten alot) so is coming along really well
