Popsicle for us Americans LOL! Took me a second to figure that out!
I give the birds some seed, but not a lot. I usually give it as a treat. I do mix healthy seed into their pellets (flax, hemp, rape, pumpkin) but its a small amount of it. I give nutriberries as a treat...
And other seed is sprouted. I give sunflower sprouted, not dry. Sprouted seed is so much better for them!
Harrison's is an acquired taste. It takes a while for us to convert incoming birds to it, but its worth it in the long run. I firmly believe its one of the very best diets available. You might have to experiment with size and flavor, which you can do more easily by calling Harrison's and asking for a sample pack. That way you wont end up with 5 big (expensive) bags that your bird doesn't like.. and one it does. You can actually ask most food companies for a sample pack, which is a great idea. I know Harrison's sample pack is a good one
Sprouting seeds can seem intimidating to someone who hasn't done it, but I was taught by a friend... and its really easy if you have good seed.
