Hi all
I have a skyblue boy and a friend wanted to rehome his green ringneck so I said I will home it with me. Now I see that polly is a girl and they are mating so I got them a nest and the mating is getting more regular. My boy was always very tame but now he just wants to bit me if I come to close to them. Polly was always wild but will take food from your hand. Is she making him wild or is it just because they are mating.

I remember reading a post from someone saying that when breeding season was over their tame male bird returned to normal. Obviously there are no guarantees.
