ID these 2 IRN's please

Post by bigred »

This is the pic I was sent from the online seller, she said she bought them as adults and dont know anything about the parents.
Only thing she said was its a Lutino cock and an Olive hen. Due to her's and my own lack of knowledge, I want to be sure of what they are.

I would say Lutino Cock and Grey Green Cinnamon which is probabley what the owner would call Olive.

If they were not split for anything then you can expect the following offspring:

1.0 ino x 0.1 grey(sf) green cinnamon
% from all 1.0
50.0% 1.0 grey(sf) green /ino cinnamon
50.0% 1.0 green /ino cinnamon
% from all 0.1
50.0% 0.1 grey(sf) ino
50.0% 0.1 ino

So green or greygreen males and lutino females.

In the best case both birds are split for blue. then you can expect this offspring:

1.0 ino /blue x 0.1 grey(sf) green cinnamon /blue
% from all 1.0
12.5% 1.0 grey(sf) green /ino cinnamon
12.5% 1.0 green /ino cinnamon
25.0% 1.0 grey(sf) green /blue ino cinnamon
25.0% 1.0 green /blue ino cinnamon
12.5% 1.0 grey(sf) blue /ino cinnamon
12.5% 1.0 blue /ino cinnamon
% from all 0.1
12.5% 0.1 grey(sf) ino
12.5% 0.1 ino
25.0% 0.1 grey(sf) ino /blue
25.0% 0.1 ino /blue
12.5% 0.1 grey(sf) blue ino
12.5% 0.1 blue ino

So green, greygreen, blue or grey males and lutino or albino females.
