does anyone use this or have tried it? if so, how do you find it?

It's a great food but like any other, it can't substitute fresh foods. A friend had her parrots on it and when I gave her a recipe she could make ahead (the sweet potato mash) and included that in her caique's diet, he feathers out so much prettier, gained the weight he needed, and his plumage was rich and colourful. On just Harrisons, he was a tad pale and underweight. Even his vet noticed. :D

no i would never consider a one food diet. theyre getting fresh food everyday.

by the way - dont subsitute the sweet potato with pumpkin. they still love it as much, and is good for them. but it stains EVERYTHING!

i was just thinking of getting harrisons to replace the seed in their diet - just use seed as treats and millet sprays. they only get seed every other day anyway, and there is always a dish of fresh fruit and veg beside it.
