Is he in a huff?

Hi, not sure if I'm being silly, but i'm not sure if my IRN Napoleon is in the huff with us.....
For instance, say he is on his perch and watching everyone in the room, if either my partner or me try to interact/talk to him, sometimes he'll turn around and face the wall, and sit like that for a while - is this normal for him to do that? He does this quite often, is he telling us he can't be annoyed right now?
Thanks for any help - he's our first bird and we're still learning!
