2 birds...will they talk?

i have a six month old IRN named Floyd. he is really cool and such a character (im sure u know what i mean). was thinking of getting an amazon and would keep them caged seperately. Is there a danger that two birds in the same room would stop them from talking?

I keep 10 birds housed in one room, and they all chatter merrily.

Some talk more than others, but thats more their personal nature than anything to do with sharing a room.
