Chooks in trouble with Daddy

Post by Jade »

Jamie grew this amazing tomato that looked like it had a big nose. So we drew eyes and a mouth on it and it looked really cool. Anyway, Chook woke up early in the morning and kept coming into our bed and annoying us so I got up and put hi on the window sill to speak to his friends in the aviary.

When I fully woke up and went to the kitchen, I realised why he was so quiet. He had attacked and eaten tomato man. He ate the whole face off it. It was a bit bigger than the size of your fist and he demolished it.

Needless to say, daddy isn't speaking to him at the moment because we didn't even get to take a picture of that tomato before it was annihilated.

Hane tried to eat the tomato for our salad while I was chopping his veggies yesterday, luckily he didn't break through the skin.

That tomato sounded awesome though. Once we grew one the size of two fists (still have the pic somewhere) and each slice covered a whole sandwich, lol. good memories. :)

Chook may be in trouble for a while...

I've been called 'birdbrained' before, but somehow I don't think this is what they meant. say:hah-nay
