Tiki's new words - video of him talking!

Post by Lisa's Tiki »

Hi all, I was able to catch Tiki talking again on my camera. This time I actually was able to get a picture of him talking instead of having to hide with the camera. Anyway here it is, Click onto the picture:Image

In this video, Tiki says "Hello Tiki" and "Who's a good birdie". You might be able to catch a few other things, but my computer here at work will not allow me to view videos. :(

All the phrases Tiki can say are:

Hello
Hello Tiki
Tiki Tiki
I love you
Who's a good birdie?
What are you doing, Huh?

Tiki turned 7 months old on Nov. 5th.

really sounds to me like, at the end, tiki is saying..

"what a good boy"

and right at the end:-

"Clever tiki, hello"

I love hearing what a ringneck will sound like. Makes it so much easier to listen for our own birds words.

Thankyou so much for sharing that! such a cute little voice.

Kai is 13 months today , I have only had him 8 weeks and he copies my laugh, wolf whistles crisp and clear, and said the most perfect You as a part of "I love you". That was about a week ago , I am still waiting to hear it again or someting more

Lisa,
That is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! Funny how you had to hide with the camera. My sister has a yellow nape amazon and she will sing this silly little camp song my neice taught her--FIRST AND SECOND VERSE! And the minute you acknowledge she's doing it or try to put a phone up to her or a video tape it she stops. Like she knows what you're doing. And it is hysterical! But you can't catch it! I love it. Thanks for sharing.

Favourite Tiki phrase: "Hello Tiki" :D

I don't speak much to Hane... so he may never speak, lol. I just don't speak much at all I suppose. Unless I have something to say.

Thanks for sharing your Tiki with us. :)

Chook can say:

Chook Chook
Chuckles
Hello (in different accents)
Hey Chook
Come on
imitates a cough and a laugh.

He is currently working on a new project but none of us can work out what it is yet!

Chuckles and Sunny say:

Chook Chook
Chook
Hello
Chuckles

I have never taught Chuckles and Sunny. They have just picked this up from Chook.
