Hi guys,
I have a question if anyone can help me with. I currently have an IRN who has been a bit depressed and quiet since I rescued it. Is it a good idea to get another IRN to keep it company? If I do, should I a male or a female?
Thanks
Should I get another male or female for my IRN? Plz advise

How long have you had your IRN? If its only a short while, maybe it needs time to adjust?
Else you might try some toys or a diet change. But if the little guy is skittish, introduce new things slowly.
It can be difficult to introduce a new bird to one that has been living on its own for a while with you. They can become aggressive and attack the newcomer. If you do decide to get another IRN for company, probably best to keep them in separate cages near each other so they can get comfortable. Unless they totally love each other, its probably best to not let them share a cage at any point.
Hope that helps!
